A BIT OF HISTORY
First edition: JULY 1939
It began as a city sporting event dedicated to racing motorcycles, organized by the Moto Club Biella with the support of the local Automobile Club.
It was one of the few urban motorcycle races in Northern Italy before the Second World War, and attracted a large number of spectators along the city streets.
The route wound through the heart of Biella on public roads, which were closed for the occasion. The length was about 2 km, with tight corners, elevation changes, and technical sections that tested the riders.
